Why an "unknown" state exists. This page is only as good as the monitor writing it. If that monitor stops, this page says unknown rather than carrying on showing a stale "all good" - a green light that stopped being updated is worse than no light at all.
What the status does not cover. It reports whether each service is answering, not whether a given token is safe. For that, run a live check.
